BIG FAT LEGS NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD – Spindle Legs on a Rustic Farm Table

Our friends in Port Charlotte wanted a farmhouse table to fit their dining room.  For the legs, they choose a big 5” wide farmhouse style spindle leg.  Normal spindle legs are around 3-4” wide and these big legs look awesome.  They go well with this Early American solid top, which is a smaller/medium table at 40”x60”.  Big legs look amazing on big tables.

Farm tables come in all shapes and sizes.  Legs for farmhouse tables do as well.  This table made by Jesus Tables is one of a handful where we have used the extra large 5″ wide spindle legs.  The legs are painted with a chalky white linen paint, then weathered down to show years of wear, the sealed with an organic matte interior natural varnish.
