Dr. BAYS & LINDA UPGRADE THEIR BREAKFAST NOOK WITH A CUSTOM ANGLED JESUSTABLE!

This breakfast nook was built in this Ft. Myers, FL home back in the 90’s with an original white 3 legged table which became wobbly over the years and was outdated and worn down. We were approached by Dr. Bays and Linda to build them a new breakfast nook table.

Linda picked out her favorite style legs (pictured on left side of the legs picture) and we painted the legs with Eco’s organic chalky linen paint and protected each leg with natural matte varnish. The top was built to spec stained in Fallen Leaves brown thanks to Ecos Paints; the top is 8 sided, 5 planks wide putting the table overall about 6 ft long x about 5ft. It has more seating room than the original b/c we made some of the angles longer and the overall width increased some.

It is a lot sturdier than the original. Originally the old table there had 3 legs on it held on by rickety small brackets with no frame. Now the table has a support frame underneath it (which really wasn’t necessary but we did it anyway) with 4 legs secured to the top and to the frame with 5 lifetime lag screws each leg.

In the end it was perfect. Came out beautiful. It’s not our standard farm table for sure. We’re not sure what you call it. Maybe breakfast nook “OCTA-TABLE”.
