Custom blend distressed farmhouse dining room trestle table

This farmhouse table was a custom blend we have never used before and three families over the last 2 weeks requested to use this color on their new tables.  The table is first distressed pretty well, then sanded down, stained w/ classic gray and dry wiping all natural onyx on top of everything.  Water based onyx dries super fast so it’s a tricky job…but looks very cool to see the hints of gray hiding in the distressing marks – gives it an old look saying “I’ve gotten my butt kicked over the years but I’m still standing strong”.
